Ittefaq collects the information you provide during signup and verification — including identity documents and professional license numbers — solely to confirm your identity and credentials before your profile becomes visible to other members. Verification documents are stored encrypted and are not shown to other members.
Profile photos remain blurred to other members until you explicitly approve a reveal. Coworker Shield exclusion lists (your named hospital, firm, residency program, or law school) are used only to filter search visibility and are never displayed publicly.
